Other Ministries

There are lots of ways you can play a part in the St Phils Community. Here are some other ministries you might like to join:

Newcomer BBQs

Every month we hold BBQs on our sunny front entry porch to meet and welcome those who are new to our Church. This is a great, informal way to meet new people, get to know a few others in our congregation and ask any questions you may have about our services, programs, and events.

Contact Eric or one of our Ministry Team to find out more.

Seniors’ Ministry

Midweek Communion is held on the second Thursday of the month in our church building at 10am to come together and hear God’s word. This is followed by morning tea and a time for fellowship.

Transport is available – please get in touch to find out more.

School Scripture

Led by an experienced teacher, our team provides Scripture classes for local primary schools including Caringbah, Burraneer Bay, Caringbah North, Lilli Pilli, Laguna St, Cronulla South and Taren Point public schools. We also work with the High School Scripture board (SEA) in Caringbah, Cronulla and Woolooware High schools. These programs are run on an opt-in bases and provide a great opportunity to reach new young people and share Jesus at work in their lives.

Small Bible Study Groups

Throughout the week we have a number of small group meetings where we come together to study the Bible, pray together and support each other. Led by experienced members of our church team or community, there are groups for every age group and life stage. They’re a great way to deepen your understanding of Jesus and build strong connections.

Church Prayer Meetings

At St Phils we regularly hold prayer meetings with weekly prayer time at 6:30am on Tuesdays via Zoom (video optional!), and in person in our church as we pray for our missionary links, community programs, world issues and our community.

Chat with Eric about upcoming opportunities for prayer.

Woolooware Shores

Situated on beautiful nearby Woolooware Bay, Woolooware Shores offers retirement living within a vibrant, friendly community. Our Ministry team support Woolooware Shores residents with the Ken Short Christian Centre offering a place for fellowship, reflection and celebration as well as a weekly Church Service run by our Chaplains.

Missionary Links

At St Phils we’re proud to support some amazing people who work to spread God’s word and transform lives through Jesus. With prayer and financial support we care for those who are supporting families and communities who are new to Australia, and families who are spreading the Gospel overseas.
