Want to find out more about the Bible and get to know Jesus? We run Christianity Explained courses twice a year at St Phils. These courses are a great starting point for finding out about what Christianity means, who Jesus was and what the Bible says – and why it matters!

Involved
Already a member of St Phils? Whether you come to our 8am, 10am or 6pm Services, we’re always looking for volunteers to help with our Community Outreach programs, support our Kids Church programs, read or pray in our services, support members of our community and so much more. Chat with Peter to learn more about how you can help.
Have some questions?
Here are some we are frequently asked:
I haven’t been to church for years, does that matter?
No! It doesn’t matter how long it is since you’ve been to church, or if you’ve never been to church before. You’re welcome here! If you don’t feel comfortable just walking in then we’d be happy to meet you first or introduce you to a few people to help you feel at ease.
I’m not sure if I’m Anglican, can I still come to St Phils?
Yes! While St Phils is part of the Anglican Church (formerly known as the Church of England), we’re also part of the broader Christian church. No matter your background, you’re welcome here!
I don’t think I’ll be able to make it every week. Is that ok?
We understand how busy life can be and we’d love to see you join us as often as you can.
I’m new to the area, do you have many new people or has everyone been there for a long time?
We’re always welcoming new people. If you don’t feel comfortable just walking in then we’d be happy to meet you first or introduce you to a few people to help you feel at ease.
I’m looking for a church in Caringbah where I can have my child baptised. Can you help?
Yes! At St Phils we welcome people of all ages into God’s community – from small babies to retirees! Our baptisms are conducted as part of our 10am Sunday services and your extended family and friends are welcome. Just give us a call to find out more.
My kids are teenagers, do you have any programs for them?
Yes! We have a great group of teenagers within our church community and a number of programs your teenagers can join. Many of our youth come to our 6pm Sunday night service. We also have Bible study groups, and camps for young people.
I can’t make it to church in person, can I join church online?
Yes! Sign up for our weekly emails and we’ll send you a link to join all our Sunday services on Zoom. You can watch our previous sermons anytime here
